On my iphone the radar seem to be about 20 miles out of sync with the google maps. Precipitation returns show about 20 mi north of actual location. Confirmed this with local tv radar. Anything I can do??
The radar data that I am currently using in Storm Spotter is drawn for a different map projection thatn Google Maps uses. This will be fixed in the next update when I move to Level 3 radar data, which I can draw to any map projection that I want.
The radars at your airport are used for aircraft and not for weather information. For weathr information, we are limited to using public NOAA or DOD radars. There is not a public weather radar located in CT, but the state is covered well by KBOX, KOKX, and KENX.

Where is CT on your list of State Radars?
Bradley International is right down the street from where I am.
